MFJ-939Y Plug & Play Auto Tuner With Cable for Yaesu 950/450/891
I have a MFJ-939Y Auto Tuner I use with my Yaesu FT-891. I believe it will tune just about anything, even your rain gutters, very quickly. It tunes very quickly and remembers what it has tuned. Of course the FT-891 does not have an internal tuner, but normally radios with internal tuners will only tune about 3:1 SWR. It is really no hassle at all to attach and you do not need a separate power supply, it gets its power from the radio through the interface cable. I like to use resonant antennas, but when I do need a tuner with a particular antenna, this is the Auto Tuner to have!
